UNIDO-ITPO (United Nations Industrial Development Organization - Investment and Technology Promotion Office) Tokyo, Japan invited Ms.Rajalakshmi -Director STPI ( Software Technology Parks of India ), Chennai, India under the Ministry of Information Technology, Government of India to Participate in the delegation program between 11th June and 20th July 2001.

The major Objective of this program was to promote IT business between India and Japan, focusing the competitive advantages of Tamilnadu, which is emerging as the leading destination in South India.

Locus Technologies is the one among the 22 Software Companies identified for the promotion.

Locus Technologies submitted their project proposal along with Visual presentation on the Company to the UNIDO-ITPO delegate program.

Locus Technologies expects joint venture with Japan companies in near future.
